நம்புவீர்!

இறை மொழி: யோவான் 20: 9-10.

9. அவர் மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுந்திருக்கவேண்டும் என்கிற வேதவாக்கியத்தை அவர்கள் இன்னும் அறியாதிருந்தார்கள்.

10. பின்பு அந்தச் சீஷர்கள் தங்களுடைய இடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிப்போனார்கள்.

இறை வழி:

ஊனுடல் உயிர்ப்பை ஒவ்வார் இன்று,

உண்மை இல்லை என்கிறார்.

வானுடல் எடுத்து வாழ்வோமென்று,

வாய்மை மறந்து தின்கிறார்.

பேணுடல் தொழிலே பெரிதெனக் கொண்டு,

பிழைத்தால் எப்படி உண்ணுவார்?

நாணுவராகி, நலிவினைக் கண்டு

நம்பின், நன்மை எண்ணுவார்!

My Great Grandfather, Rev. Vethamanickam of Osaravilai CSI Church (formerly LMS in Kanyakumari and surrounding areas) had 5 daughters and one son. The eldest daughter Gnanavadivu and her family moved to Colombo in the early forties of the last century. Later, some of her descendants came back to Nagercoil and Neyyoor and settled there.

However, the family of Jasmine Acca migrated to Germany, after miraculously escaping the genocidal tide of violence in 1983. Two of her sons are with her now there in Germany and the other two had gone to Canada and the United Kingdom.

This Jasmine Acca had paid a short visit to Chennai and we were in fact blessed of meeting her at our Secretariat Colony residence.

See, how the children are blessed of a servant of God, who died in utter poverty in an unknown village!
